AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
It's super lame as far as guns go...but I miss my very first paintball gun. My Tippman Pro Carbine.
I sold it to help pay for my first Automag, but I kind of wish I'd kept it as a spare so I have one to loan out to friends without equipment, and it has nostalgia value.
I played with that gun every wednesday and saturday for a good 6 months before I upgraded to the 68 classic. In that time I don't think I ever had to do anything but oil it up once a month. And that gun could swallow a gallon of liquid CO2 before it choked.
My mag originally ran on CO2, but in the midwest playing during the winter it simply couldn't handle the climate. Even an expansion chamber didn't help. So I was the first in my group to switch to HPA which I think cost me more than the Automag did.
I miss my first gun, The awesome Brass Eagle Stingray 2. Never had a problem with that gun but then I upgraded a few months later to a Spyder Victor 1. That I still have lol.

i miss my first the most...sometimes. a victor 1. but then i remember how nice 'mags and cockers are.
for me it's the only marker i've traded away; my 98 LED angel. sure it sucked to tune and the feedneck sucked, but it had a unique sound, feel, and it ripped. i've since kept all my markers.
Me too, its funny when players complain about the weight of their marker and I think back to when I ran around with a VM68 with a 20 oz. tank. My arms must have been huge back then.
