    Deadlywind Aedes

I think I got the spelling of the marker right.
Anyways met Colin and his sidekick today at World Cup.
    His barrels are a hit.
Got a pic of the elusive Aedes Marker he once upon a time was thinking about producing.

Fear of getting his *** sued off from what I recall. It's been a long time though.

He just said it was a combination of things.
One of which is that an important component of Aedes is the MQ valve, which is no more.

$20-$25 from most stores, I thought. Plus, you're making the marker, so why not make the valve?

              Patents my friend, patents.
They might not be making MQ's anymore but you better not either.

I forgot to mention I talked to Gavin from Kohn Lasering.
Someone is going to be ecstatic when they get their tri color fade Emag back from him.
He said it came out amazing.
He didnt have any pics but I'm sure we will be seeing pics soon of it.

It couldn't cost much to license out a technology that, unused, probably costs more in court fees to retain and defend. It's basically found money. Use the "what else are you using it for?" argument... I mean, the patent is held by Kee. They're trying to narrow their branding. WGP is dead, and near worthless.

Kohn does an absolutely amazing job with their lazer work. My Invert Mini is STUNNING, and the items I sent to have matched came out really nice as well. I will say one thing though...different grades of aluminum will lazer ever so slightly a different shade. My freak back and front are slightly off, no fault of Kohn at all, just part of the process and the way it turns out.

I HIGHLY recommend them for work. Great turnaround and super communication through the whole process. They even offered to lazer a replacement part for me just for the cost of shipping to and from. In no way at all was it their responsibility to do, just nice.

it's always to see guys coming out with stuff but i gotta ask as part of the consumer market.... why buy this over an EGO, G6r or something else of the sort? If it were to be produced, of course.

Because with the electronically controlled valve, (MQ) you've got no kick in this gun. It should have all the benifits of a spoolie and a poppit valved gun combined.

I understand the patent part but why not sell it as a kit? I mean, he could offer the bodyies and frames only and whomever purchases it could just buy the rest of the parts and have it assembled. Wouldn't sell zillions like the aforementioned Ego but still could have it's share.
