Proto pants question

I bought some used proto pants off PBN. I get them today and notice the elastic draw string around the ankle on one leg is gone.

First: what is the right name for that?
Second: can it be easily be replaced? It probably requires the pant cuff to be unsewn and redone if I can source a replacement string.

Pant Leg Bungee?

I don't normally use them, but you can buy the bungee from Micheal's or A.C Moore's.
Just push it through one hole and slowly move it around til you get to the other. No sweat!

Hrmm.. Alright. I guess I can check there. Wonder if they have the clips (or whatever they are called) too.

Unless you really have to have them, I wouldn't worry about it. U might even try a GoodWill. They have backpacks there for like $5, and they will have the drawstring bungee and the little clip.
