I shot some of this .50 cal crap at the uwl. It also bounces like crazy. When it does break you usually can't even see the break.

.50 cal is fine for kids because it hurts less and the markers are smaller and lighter.

If I were "arming" some 10-15 year olds for backyard woodsball I'd buy a few .50 cal packages and a handheld chronograph and let them go nuts.

But for me I don't see switching to 50 cal any time soon.

I also don't see it being much of a problem on small, closed courses like X-Ball either.

But a lot of us play woodsball or scenario on bigger than tennis court-sized fields. Outside of that, the .50's pretty useless.
