That's a genuine barrel sock. When two go into the laundry, but only one comes out, it goes into the rag box. I usually use them to store spare barrels. Vf-xx and I needed something to wipe the finger prints off when we were done petting that body.

What are those barrel tips made out of? I haven't had a good look at one.

That RT body was what I had in mind when I started jeweling. I'm glad I got to do that one. It didn't fix my "want" for an old RT at all. I have a minimag like that, but it's just not the same. That one actually looks intimidating when you know there's nothing but RT valve under there.

Glad to hear you like it. I wanted to put a little more life in the old stainless bodies; they are unique.
