    Look what I found

Found it here in Brazil and I'm trading it for a RT Pro I have laying around.

What kills me is how the guy hacked the rare Euro-High-Rise body both in front and at the valve (why would anyone do this to the valve, anyway?).

I'm planing to swap some parts with my other euro-bodied classic RT (body, valve and airline) and then have a pristine splashed RT in the collection. Only missing part is the sight rail. Does anyone have a matching one laying around all by itself?

doesnt look like a stock anodizing. Maybe aftermarket. That will make it difficult to find a siterail. If you become interested in selling the body let me know I could use it for parts.

        Thanks, guys.

I may sell the body later, don't know yet. This will be my third RT Classic here so who knows...

With that said you could always have someone try to match it for you. At tht point just about any rail would work

            whats up with the valve?
has it been modded so the air doesnt come in through the rail?

Exactly. Someone opened a hole on it's side. Now why would anyone do this, I don't know. I do know that hacking the front part of the body was common back in 1996 for weight saving but I wouldn't do it either.

Nice find and yes it is a shame some one hacked it up like that. I picked up my classic RT from a guy local to me just so it didn't get wrecked. He planned on something similar so i traded a rt pro valved classic for it.
