Drill and tap back of valve for gauge?

Could you drill and tap the thing in the back of the valve that you use to adjust the velocity, and put a gauge in the back there?

Velocity adjustment would probably need to either come from some holes drilled in the sides of that thing so that you can stick an allen wrench in there to still turn it, or from a pre-valve external regulator.

    Just wondering...

Or maybe use the valve to adjust velocity as a knob...

Classic RT, would solve that problem, though.

The velocity adjuster? There's no pressure on the other side, just springs. The dump chamber has been tapped and gauge mounted before. You need a tough gauge or one with a very small port; the pressure spikes are hard on it.

It would look better if you just put the gauge on the second output of the asa.
