    DYE or Lapco Stainless Steel??

    Which is more accurate?? 12" DYE Stainless Steel or 11.5" LAPCO Stainless Steel?? Or should I just get a 12" DYE Boomstick?? If you recommend somthin else post here.

    They shoot about the same. All high quality barrels will, with properly sized paint, shoot about as accurately as a paintball can be shot. I like the lapco because it is more efficient, cheaper, and IMO, it looks better.

      Go with the lapco it's a sweet barrel. I love them both my mag and 98 classic have them.

        I own a Lapco, its really nice it will shoot just as good if not better than the dye i also have a dye stainless so i know.

        The Lapco is also cheaper

          I've got a lapco Bigshot as well, shoots great, I've used 32* team colors, midnight, proball devil, RP marbs, Zap proformance plus. Everything shoot well. Go for it.

            i shoot a smartparts all american and that thing shoots great. i'd reccomend it to anyone
            my game is all about probablility, if i shoot 900 balls at you in 10 minuets 1 of them will hit you

                I had a horrible experience with my bigshot. Now I have a Dye SS and it shoots great.

                  Whatever you end up buying - get it in aluminum. Unless you've got huge bulging muscles or something. (unlike me) Your arms will thank you for leaving the extra .3-.8 pounds on the shelf. Aluminum shoots the same and costs less, too. I've had good times with a lapco and the all american, but I don't much care for my 2 piece J&J. Maybe it's just me.

                      ss is hevier but i like my boblong. the ss can be bounced off a tree and not hurt it which is a pluss.

                            Dont get a boomstick unless you want to confine yourself to using only expencive paint!

                            SS barrels suck in cold weather. They get really cold and make the paint britte and the paint will break in you barrel

                            lapco sounds like a great barrel

                            i whould get a palmer barrel or a boa barrel b/c i have the boa and its awesome and the palmer barrel is supposed to be even better!
