Whats the deal with the barrel?

As for the marker. To the right person, It could be worth more then a stock one.

Level 5 barrels were two piece. Used a different nubbin set up.
Seems to be level 5 all the way...first production run.

For all you collectors out there I happened to come across my original listing of the different levels for the Mag and what was done in each. We didn't release the gun until level 5 so previous to that you will not find any. I am posting it here so I don't loose it again!

Its not really a use-able marker.

But it is a collectors item.

Probably only bring between $200 to $300, and then it will have to be the right person.

Have to be not only a die hard mag enthusiast but also a collector.

Plenty of die hard mag enthusiasts left but not too many collectors left.

The economy has people selling stuff they thought they'd never let go of.

Its not going to bring that much $ and you will likely never see another one like it,
you should definitely keep it man.

Yeah this thing has been just sitting on my desk forever being used as a paper weight.

Now that my kids are old enough to play they tell me they would rather shoot real guns.

So I've sold most of my collection to build them a couple of AR15s after they outgrow their 1022s.

IIRC Classic Magger had the only other one I've seen on these boards. I believe he tried to sell it once, for around $500. Along with the disclaimer that I'm not entirely sure that's what he was asking, keep in mind that said post would have been about four years ago in an entirely different market where everyone wasn't broke.

If you could hunt down an original box and maintenance video, as well as some other AGD stuff (sights, 6-Pak, etc.) it might be worth some money to the right person. It's certainly very rare though, and if I were you I'd hold on to it as a collector's item, or at least make sure the right person is buying it and isn't going to part it out.

TAW- I had two of them for awhile there... a few years actually, bumming around here. I never knew a price I could sell them for and don't remember what any of the stuff went for. I think I still have one of them and I know A-Tach got one from me, but he is since done with Mags and I have no clue what he did with it.

Nice find though, it's the only other one I've seen besides the two I had since the early 90's. I found another in a box, brand new, that was supposed to be mailed back to AGD for the free upgrade, but wasn't and the kid got fired over it.

That's where A-Tach sold that Level 5, apparently he didn't get a whole lot for it from the looks of things. Your serial number is quite a bit lower than his was too. I don't remember what the other one is, I think 200 or 300 something.

Hope it helps for an idea on price. I'd keep it for a nice paper weight, heck a couple paper weights.

I actually bought the lvl 5 automag from A-Tach on pblegion.com a while back for $125.00 I thought it was a steal....

In December 2010 I decided to donate the LvL5 automag to the Socal Cureball and sent it off to get Tom Kaye to sign it for the auction.

Maybe the lucky winner will post up some new pics!

I got to admit I would LOVE this if I still paintballed and I had the money for it. My CF01779 still works amazing and love to rub in the fact that a guy with a gun made in 1991 just owned someone with a brand new setup.
