    Is it time yet?

Ok so last time I looked into it (months and months ago) SP was gone with the wind and this magical White Hats LLC created a website and posted some vague comments that got everyone all jittery. What's gone on since then? What the heck have they done? I tried loking on their "channel of information" but did not see anything new or ground breaking.

All I really want to know is: Is it time to kick emag production into high gear?

GD I'd like to pick up a shiny new 2012 Emag. I know people still have mint condition ones, but its not the same (no offense to all the badarse emag owners). I'm a die hard mag fan and I want to see a mag take over! I'm tired of seeing the fields flooded with cheap electros that aren't worth a dang and I really like showing up with a mage and hearing "what is that?".

I believe Kee ended up with all of the intellectual property. Would support the claims I heard awhile back that Tippmann was going to enter the speedball arena.

    No new Emag for you!

even without the patents going to KEE (who is enforcing them), there never was going to be a new emag. sorry.

Design patents only last for 14 years. So if it is simply solenoid activated by a switch issue, i would think it is going to lose its "limited monopoly" soon

With the availability of VER frames, Ego frames and the like, I wouldnt truly expect the E-Mag as we know it to ever begin production again. If it was rereleased as a EP framed mag, maybe, but not in it's original form. At least that's my $.02.

Only if the patent was issued before 1995. Any time after that it's 20yrs.

What about a full electropneumatic valve? In the flavor of say... pressure controlled poppet.
Forget the sear, forget the EP frames. Keep the Level 10, of course

No more prototype sneek-peaks until it's been anododized and tested.

I am talking about design patents not utility patents... do you know when SP had theirs registered

I was wondering when someone would get around to that..

Well that sounds like a MQ valved mag, IIRC KEE owns the patent on the MQ's aswell. So that would be the same kind of issue with patents. Now if you made them thats a different story to some extent.
