Is the mag the only gun that can go underwater? I can't think of any other that might at the moment. I can't wait to try this with my Emag later today

I don't see why other mech guns wouldn't function after being underwater.

the SP1 from Smart Parts had a dipped board, there is video of it firing underwater somewhere around here.

I used to clean my mags by dunking them in warm sudzy water and cycling them a few times - Stainless screw replacement was a must when doing this I learned quickly.

I have seen a video of a Inspire BFG firing after being thrown in a creek.

I figure most will fire after being dunked, but how about functioning while submerged? I'm guessing the hammers wouldn't function on the mechs that have them.

I've cycled a VM68 underwater, no problem. Tippmann 98 as well. The Spyder LE we put in the fishtank with them farted from the front of the valve and the cupseal didn't reseat, and the Autococker refused to cycle.

The VM68 and prolite by Tipman both were designed to be cleaned by ducking them in water and then just feeding oil through them when you had it clean. It was in the manual that way.

back in the '90s i remember someone took their Cocker in the shower with them, to clean it

although the paintballs would not go very far. i was doing a bunch of reading about underwater firearms, the projectile itself needs to be hydrodynamic to go anywhere.

otherwise there is no reason why mech markers shouldn't work underwater. might even help tech leaks!

even if the manufacturer claims the board has been water proofed, shellacked, and blessed by Poseidon.... you really wanna test that with your brand new $1500.00 spray and pray I'm so AGG I don't even have to hit the field cuz' I'm a "sniper" gun?
