So where did all the Zgrips go?

I am kind of curious as to how many frames there are floating around the forums now. There were 400 I am just wondering how many ares till around. I know the exact location of 4 so that makes for 1% They come up for sale every so often but I have a feeling that is just the same frame going around and around.

I sold mine off a bit back... will look and see who has it. I think we should put a little piece of paper/tape on the inside of each one of them and number them. Like tracking wildlife and see how many we can come up with so we'll know it's not the same one over and over.

Just a small 1cm piece of paper/masking tape on the inside back of the frame would suffice.

So who's in for the Z Grip BagNTag?

See I would love that plan. But I doubt I will ever sell one, so its hard to say how useful it would be.

Now to track down all the splash anno'ed ones.

eh??? Not at all... this would allow you to get a better count... not just track... So you have 4 of them... you have yours labeled 001, 002, 003, 004

              Ratt can have 005
              Rudy would be 006

Then you just set up a little Excel spreadsheet and type in the numbers in column A and the name of the owner in column B as they report in, they get assigned the next number in line. It would work best if the number was printed and not hand written though. But that's easily done by just getting a bill or a some piece of mail and finding the number that you have somewhere on it and cutting it out and taping it to the inside. then as people report in that they have one you can assign them a number as to the next one in the list. If the Z grip moves and someone says they have one and open it up and see 005 then they know it's already been tagged and you can update the database.

Grelvire could be 007 and if/when it changes the new owner to post up and the list updated.

Thsi isn't exactly true. AGD had a hard time getting rid of them when they came out. They are still little more than a novelty piece. I have seen them sit for sale for months on end as well. making a new frame all depends on the price point. $120-150 and they would sell well, but you would have to make a lot of frames to make it worthwhile at that price.

nope. besides a novelty part, these are all but worthless.

Good point, cp. Those automag things too, those things are so outdated, they can't keep up with the new Spyders. The only reason people still use them is because they got good at attaching them to their walkers and don't want to change. That's what I read on PBN, anyway.
