    10 o'clock vs. 9 o'clock?

I've seen some variation in the way some people describe X-valves, being those with the X at the 10 o'clock position and those with the X at the 9 o'clock position. Why was that done? And is either more desirable than the other?

Some people treat it like a misprint on a....baseball card. Some will pay the extra money for it but is it worth more...to each his own.

Which was it supposed to be? Meaning, which variation is the "misprint"?

Look at pics of mags with the X-Valve on, (if you don't have one) and decide what looks to be more preferd or looks better/proper in your opinion.

The ten o'clock is the misprint...nine o'clock is standard/proper one.
