New paintball irc chat: collecting quality users

Would it be ok to make an invite thread here for an irc chat? Krush and I are planning a fresh start with some pleasant and "like-minded" users from a number of different forums (lol possibly excluding pbn and techpb). So if it's ok with the mods here, i can reply to this thread with the chat server/channel info.

i'm taking that as an ok

      /server irc.coldfront.net

      /join #talkpb

chat should be growing progressively larger within the next day or so.. there's invites on like 7 different forums. but tastefully larger.. if that makes any sense... you'll see.

oh i'm familiar with that chat, but we were looking to more or less start from scratch, but this time the idea is to build the user list up with a more conscious effort to collect people that (among other qualities) don't need to be moderated (babysat). Trust me it'll be a brand new day soon..

i'm seeing more people mention something about it working but there being no content. Well i'm in the chat and i can see users joining and signing off immediately in the logs.

The solution may be to grab an irc client for this and just punch in the info i posted earlier. Actually i think all the chat regulars there use some kind of external means of logging in including me of course.

other than mIRC, there's always the chatzilla addon for firefox. I also heard mibbit is good, and i believe trillian allows you to join irc chats too. Regardless, we're working on it.

            /server irc.coldfront.net

            /join #talkpb

            ^ that's what i should've typed earlier.

here's something even more helpful, a direct link to the chatzilla addon:
