    How Popup Contests Work

    For all you new guys here is what goes on. Popup contests are an AO original (and probably exclusive) way to surprise you guys here in the forum.

    Just for fun once and a while I just hop on the forum and announce a contest. It's usually for something smaller like a Superbolt or a hat or something.

    Any type of contest I can think up is legal but they usually involve posting something. One time everyone posted in a particular thread on even 10 minute intervals. When I reloaded the page on a particular 10 minute mark whoever was at the bottom won! Of course only I know which interval wins the prize. Another time we did one where the 1000th post won a prize, that only took 7 minutes. Another time we made you go find the oldest pic of Glen Palmer and then you could win.

    I will have to think up something evil for tonights show but I can promise you it will be fun!!

                      Dangit Tom, why couldn't you do this tomarrow. I'm on duty, and might get a call, plus this is a slow 28K modem. Need to be at home on my DSL. Oh well should be fun, could really use an emag to go with my EMS partner's
