    I had to do this

The recent thread on this board has motivated me more than I thought. As irksome as the claims that my creations don't work are, the one thing that really baffles me on that Bragging video is all of belief that these guns were not made by me. No biggie, really, but I have to ask...

I'm still very grateful to those who support me and try to set the record straight on my behalf. People can believe whatever they want, and I don't need this to be taken seriously.
    It still makes me go

I have been a big fan ever since a friend showed me your great creations. At the time, he only had a few photos of "some guy's marvelous scratch builds". Haters will always hate - simple as that, don't care about an irrefutable fact of life. Keep your creative side going, showing to the paintball society that there is so much more than cheap Ions and the latest released Ego out there.

My main question seeing your creations was never if you had really made the markers yourself, nor if they would work. My immediate thought was "I want one of those" followed by "I want one just like those" followed by "I gotta track this guy down to get something like that done".

So my main question today has nothing to do with your legitimacy, but is simply what level of commission work do you do? Just triggers, or larger parts as well?

Like I said, it's not really meant to be taken seriously. But it still seems weird.
Olsson-I'm really mostly sticking with Triggers right now. Starting up a new project is mammoth. Of course, that doesn't mean I'm totally against it. I would sell some of my existing pieces if the price is right, but I don't actively pursue sales anymore. You can PM me and we can discuss it.
Trying to make a business out of Triggernomics took the fun out of it. The best part, besides sharing them with you guys, is making the stuff. When something gets finished, I oogle at it for a while, and then it goes on the shelf, that's it. It's when I'm designing and carving that the best comes out of me.

You should regret not selling it to me! I still do... LOL

Dan, your work always left me speachless. Big, big fan here!

Reminds me of the RT Enhancer Dan made.

Did you ever make more than just the one?

I made about ten of those Enhancer triggers, all of which wound up in the State of Maine with friends of mine. I was always nervous about those because they were ahead of their time as far as rate of fire goes. I also never wanted to market them because they were mostly blenders, until the warp feed came out. Then I got really nervous after I hit a guy about sixteen times in a single second. I still see his body jolting left and right and paint splatting all over. The good thing is, he was a teammate(not on my team at the time) and he took it pretty well. I actually gave his son the RT a few years later, without the Enhancer. The others are still running as far as I know.

Nowadays it would be different story, blowing electros away with a pneumatic/mechanical trigger is a ton of fun.
                  Man I miss paintball.

When I started really getting into the sport, it was like this, and now I think is neat that I have talked to you, Dan. In the mid 2000's your works made you an elusive god.

That mag frame at 12 seconds is sick, by the way. I love the shape of the grip part of the frame. Elegant like a sword.

Thanks, that frame was cut out of a two inch thick block, by hand! It took about a week just to cut it out.

The Enhancer uses the trigger pin as a hinging point between two separate pieces, one being the trigger, and the other being the sear pin contact. A spring is then placed between the two pieces, and when you pull on the trigger, the spring does all the work as it absorbs the return force from the sear while still being strong enough to push back and actuate the firing sequence again. It's a pain to get it dialed in right, but once you've got it, it's incredibly fun to shoot.
Search through ManInBlack's posts, he had something we worked on together for a while. It never really took off, but he modified the design in a way that made the construction more simple. I've still got a few blanks of that model. If you want one, I'll send it to you.

Hey, Dan, any chance I can get one as well?

                            Thanks.
