OK, I am convinced you think I'm 12 years old now. LOL. It is definitely not chrome, as the whole body was one solid color and i know what discolored/corroded chrome looks like. And i know it was anodizing because i could tell when i stripped it. Came off just like anno (with easy off). It will bubble( not really bubbling like chrome but more like pitting underneath the finish) It takes a really long time and lots of neglect for this to happen. It was put up with paint still on it. That kinda helped the process along. This could have been a model only available in Japan. I find that there are things here that you can get in the states but are commonly slightly different or like i said before it could have been a prototype before production. I don't know for sure but I am certain of the fact that it was neither Chrome or Black. Who knows, it could have been re annoed by the Original owner. would be one boring color choice to spend money on though. Man i wish i had taken pictures before i stripped it. They knew me as Mook and DM. The frozen ball was unintentional for the record... I played there and rode my motorcycle from Yokosuka to Tama to play in the morning. Needless to say it was cold. The paint I had in my back pack with my gear and it froze on the way.
I've got pics back home of me and the crew of that day as he had one hell of a welt on his left arm. Does Hiroo still show up there? He owned/operated Killer Studios in Harajuku when I was there.

Thats a pretty funny story though. It is definitely possible that it was the same Hitoshi, i think he has been around there for quite a while. He is about 43 years old ( but looks way younger than that)
I will also ask around about Hiroo, as kanda is the only JN i have befriended so far.Comment

I don't think you are 12... I just know that for sale in the US the bodies were Black or Chrome. It's possible that what you said is true, or it could be one that he didn't have ano'd at all or something. No clue. But I do know that Yoshi said the one he had would never be produced. He never even patented it.
And yes ano will strip with the ez off and obviously chrome won't. So who knows what it was to begin with. Now the question is what are you gonna ano it like?
