    Ninja SHP

Just for everyone's info, ANS gear has Ninja SHP's on sale for 39.95 right now. I don't know how long it will last. All I know is that i am not happy considering I just ordered one from them over the weekend at full price. I wonder if i can get them to refund the difference? If you don't know about the SHP... It is a Super High Pressure regulator basically made for Automags. Here's a link to the review of it.

I'll let you know when i get mine in. Doesn't appear to be a problem in the video though. I think if you skip to around 3:00 in the video you can see it in action.

With the shims out for 950 psi, it RTs two of my x-valves, both at 14 bps. One is ULT and the other is RT on/off. I didn't bother with the 1100 psi setting. It's not quite as fast as the max-flo inline imo, but I try to keep it playable anyway. I can run for a bunker while hosing others off with one hand, so not much problem there.

One thing I've noticed swapping shims around in my three different versions; setting the bottle just 200 psi over your HPR setting doesn't work well (shot inconsistency). I go for at least 300 over with my low pressure markers and it's all good.

Ditto. My SHP is also set at 950 and my Tac-One RTs at 14-16 bps, while my RT Classic seems to cycle a bit faster. Very consistent, no recharge rate issues whatsoever.

I think it (the rate) also has to do with the bolt spring. Both of mine are using older gold springs and shooting around 270fps. I think a stiffer spring might bump me up one or two bps.

I got the real answer: the 39.95$ price is a clearance price to sell old stock as a newer version improved got out.

Any improvements besides the o-rings and maybe the spring (pack)?

My brass top 3k is only a few years old and does good. I haven't seen "new" vs "old" rebuild kits yet.

Quite sure it will have their new 360degree adjustment(3 set screw to lock in place). Still use the same rebuilt. Will have the new spring type.

LOL, mine too! Just ordered it last Friday. Oh well, it will match the Retro valve I'm using as opposed to an X-valve

I have two now, one is for a friend, the other will be on my 35ci tank for my mag rifle when it gets finished... Have to deal with the evils of a cocker before I can fall back on the simple awesome nature of a mag
