    Emag I picked up.

I've been wanting to buy an emag or xmag for the last month and a half, usually just barely missing a good deal or having funds tied up in other things. However, I did find an ebay posting, selling a custom anno'd emag w/ warp and a few barrel inserts. I thought it was too good to be true, so I bought it lol. Now, I'm happy with the money spent but was nevertheless curious as to whether I got it for a decent price. Input very much appreciated. :)

If you are happy with it and you paid a price that you think is fair, then you did ok.

price is all in the eye of the beholder.

if you are lookig for a personal respose,
i would have never paid that much for that mag.

To understand the value of a mag it helps me to go piece by piece, so heres a breakdown for you:

          Emag electronics - $200
          Emag lowers w/rail - $100
          ULE body - $75
          Xvalve - $200
          Barrel - $50
          Warp + Charger $75

I total that mag out to be appx 700 to put together from the used market. So did you get a deal? No you did not, did you overpay? If you did, you didn't overpay by much, so its an even trade in my book. And the bonus is that they are all match anno'd!

That battery pack makes it all worth it I think. I emailed him about that valve I think he said it was a standard emag valve with a carbon fiber looking sticker on it.

Fixed. $585 would be the value, I couldn't touch a ULE body for under 100 when I was looking last week, and Emag valves are much cheaper than X valves.

The custom battery pack and anno job adds some extra value to it. You should get it flashed to X-mod.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

Agree on the ULE, but I think Emag valves are worth a bit more than sixty. Not as much as an x valve, but I think they are a bit closer to a benjamin

Considering the Emag valve has a Level 10 bolt, which can run you $50 used all by itself, I'd put it at $100 in value as well.

The milling on the battery pack makes it much more desirable, and the all-matching silver to slate anodizing looks pretty sharp.

I'd say it was a fair price. Not a steal, but a fair price.

Warp ULE bodies tend to be cheaper than standard ULE bodies, so the $75 price is closer to accurate. Also, Emag valves are usually $100 or so depending if they have LVL10 or not.
