Anybody know about Arrow Precision markers?

I've owned a few Sterlings and a Sovereign, and an Inferno.

I recently received an Inferno in a light blue to dark blue fade with a silver splash, single 45 frame, powerfeed, and milling that is strikingly similar to the Free Flow Millennium Autococker body kits. It does not seem to match any of the Infernos I've seen and in applying the best of my googling skills I haven't seen another one like it. My guess is that it was a team gun or private label. It seems to be a very early generation, with the cartridge-style valve system ending in a 1/8th NPT adapter rather than an ASA or foregrip.

I'm wondering if anybody here has come across one or has more info - I'll try to get pics.

I'm willing to bet you have a "Les Industries Joker Ace" and not an Arrow Precision marker...

Both were distributed by Diablo in their day and have similar looks (Inferno base). Milling is certainly reminiscent of BBT Westwood and Freeflow Millennium. Francois Louvet of Les Industries was also responsible for the Toxic Toys Tribal line of electropneumatic guns.

That's exactly what I've got, matches the Westwoods milling perfectly.

Makes sense too, BBT did a few PL Sovereigns, and Diablo marketed the Inferno in the US before Arrow Precision had a big presence in the US. I wonder who anodized it? It's really beautifully done, and frankly the frame is much more solid than the Arrow Precision markers.

I used to own a TON of Tribals; I bought a Mephisto when they first came out, and years later you could by them for $25-$75 a piece so I assembled a fleet of loaners. I guess I just never recognized the similarity between the designs of the two markers. Now that I look at it, it would take maybe an hour to convert this Joker into a Mephisto.

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but Francois Louvet made all the Diamond Labs regulators and Boo-Yah frames, right, and the Micromag clones?

Unless Powerball have out sourced their manufacturing to the U.S. they're made in England by Powerball. They're next door to Belsales in Aldershot of Evolution Autocoker fame. Their stuff is all well made as far as I can gather, their paint shoot pretty nice too. I've bought a lot of stuff from them over the years. My guess is they've opened up a branch in the U.S. and have taken the Arrow part of the name from the industrial estate they're based on in the UK. They've always been very helpful and friendly with very good customer service. I always fancied a Sterling I'm told they're pretty good.
