AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Are there still any adjustable reg tanks made out there? If so, would you guys mind posting your opinions. I'm in the market and I'd appreciate it.
Dan
Lots of used ones out there. I have a Hypeflow 301 (3k) that I would be willing to sell. You can find AA Rex Raptors on Ebay usually as well. The Ninja SHP can be adjusted by removing shims.
I thought I remember someone posting a while back about a company that was still producing adjustable regs, but I cannot find the post and can't remember the name. Someone else may be able to help.
I always liked my Dynaflow (which I'll be putting up for sale next week when I get back from vacation)
The problem with most adjustables these days is parts will be hard to come by. O-Rings you can get anywhere, but if any of the metal guts get busted, you may be SOL.
I thought I saw a post a few months back featuring adjustable reg tanks too. I tried a search, maybe I should try different keywords.
Is there really no one producing these at all anymore? Is everthing preset? I mean there's nothing like an RT running at 1200 psi.
hmmm.
They are mostly all preset but output can be change with shims.
Ninja are good with it
Yeah I love the 1200psi reg, they have the SHP also(a little less fast than the 1200reg) and they just got out their Pro reg wich is a new spring system wich is supposed to have even a better recharge than their regular stuff.
I am a dealer for them if you want to order :)
I only doesn't have the AGD logo on my regs.
I currently own 2 Rehvac regs which are fully adjustable via a wrench. They can be adjusted from 200-1200 psi output. They are similar in design to the old Nitroduck ones. I like them because they do not have to be taken apart to adjust them, just turn the wrench and the pressure changes. They have 2 gauges on them also, one for output pressure and one for what's left in the tank. I believe they are located somewhere in Texas but I may be wrong. Paintball Charleston also stocks them.
paintball charleston had 1 or 2 in january that i know of and no more will be made. trust me i asked currently own 3 haha and the flatline i offered already
Well the ninja system seems to be the only chance I have right now. It doesn't say on their website how high the pressure adjustment goes though. If it's just 850psi, then I can stick with a preset.
I have several new tanks that are in hydro that I could ship without a reg. They are 68/4500. The adjustable Ninja regs are done by adding shims or the SHP reg is preset but I dont remember the exact pressure. Maybe 1200 psi?
