Only reason why I'd get 88 is if they couldn't fill to 4500 psi. Otherwise, 68/4500 is plenty.

exactly miscue. i got an 88/4.5k for extra shots at my favorite field, but the other one i frequent only has 2800 at best. If I ever needed an adjustable, I'd consider an 88 flatline if they made 'em.

i'm considering takin my 88/4.5 hyper aprt and switchin the reg of my 68/4.5k flatline when i get it..... if i go to a field that has no air fills and i am need to use my scuba i need the xtra shots from that the 88 can give.... for the most part a 68 only lasts me if i can get it filled above 4k..... when as the 88 even at 3k seems to be just right for the way/amount i like to shoot.... darn my trigger finger =)

Back from the dead, haha. As I said before, I would love an 88 flatline, but preferably a stubby, I have a screw-in long style, but I like stubbys better, cuz shorter drop = not having to take the whole thing apart just to charge the battery.

I prefer regular 88's, but I already have a 68/4500 flatline. As virus mentioned I'm thinking about switching regs w/ my Crossfire tank when it's time to hydro and I'd have a 88/4500 flatline. Raiden I have a 88/4500 stubby PMI, wanna trade?

i think that68/4500 is big enough for anyway. i havent been to a field (Excluding some backyards) that couldnt do 4500. in the backyard fill from a scuba after every or every other game to 3k. should be enough or i dont shoot fast enough. BTW soilent green was a super cool/freaky movie

Chuck - No kidding? That would be great. When's the hydro date? 3 or 5 year? Mine's a 5 (but it says 3, explanation here) and in nice condition. Oh yea, it's System X. Great tank, just long 88s aren't my style. No scratches, but it came from the factory with a tiny, superficial chunk of coating taken out on the bottom. According to numerous people who've filled my tank (workers at stores and fields, not Joe 6-Pack with a scuba in the back of his truck) and Carleton's own website it's fine. I couldn't get a good picture of it (the "missing chunk"), though. hunting-pictures.com isn't working for me, so I'll attatch one pic, I can email the rest if interested.

I have only ever run a 68- 4500... over 1000 shots is plenty for me. Of course it helps that all the fields I play have 4500 fills.

i have an 88ci Carleton 4500 flatline - bought in Sep. My teammate has a 91 ACI 4500 flatline bought in July

They're out there (these both fit the DYE 88ci tank covers)

I'd buy one in a heartbeat. Playing back, I could use the extra air, without having to go back for a fill between games. Would love a long 88.

That would be a great option. It would be better for too for those of us who also play on our own fields..... the more shots the better! At a field with fills, I don't care one way or the other, I have never gone through my 68/4500 in one game.

                            Funny you should ask...

I just bought an 88/4500 Flatline on Wednesday night.
(Gonna need all the air I can get for the MGO).
It took forever to fill that big bugger from empty.
