AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
I was surprised at the finish. From the pics, I really thought this would be gloss black, not dust black, but mine did come in today and is nice. Takes a little to get things lined up straight, but still nice to have options.
Could you tell me is it's gloss black or dust black.
On the pictue I can't see very well, it seems to be dust and on the pictures of DW they seem gloss.
As I need a gloss one, I'd like to know before ordering.
In the same way, the carbon seem to be matte. Is it really matte or is it varnished (like the VD for example) ?
I would consider it dust. Its pretty close to the stock finish on the current version of the tac rails. Not as flat as J&J barrels, but not as shiny as gloss CP parts.

I finally pulled mine apart and checked it out at all of its different angles. It's kind of tricky to get it lined up correctly, regardless of which position you're putting in. It's very cool, though and it does line up in every position.
