Sadako Sasaki was a Hiroshima victim who, after the war, succumbed to Leukemia from exposure to the atomic bomb's detonation.
While in the hospital she was visited by a friend who presented her an origami paper crane folded from golden paper.
In Japanese folklore, anyone who folds 1000 paper cranes can request an audience with the Gods and will be granted one wish.
Sadly, Sadako fell short of her goal and she died in the hospital at the age of 12.

My sister is a cancer survivor, as is my aunt. In both instances, folding the cranes brought our family together, kept us from biting our nails down to the first knuckle, and allowed us to display the amount of support we had in a unique way.
We had done the same for a close friend who had an aggressive cancer attacking her brain. Unfortunately, she passed rather quickly in the hospital, but we gathered together and folded the cranes in her memory.

I know first-hand the pain and sorrow involved with this ailment. Anyone who is fighting will be in my thoughts.

Keep strong, keep in good spirits, and if you would request it I'll gladly fold some cranes for you. I'm sure many others from AO will join me.

First, your situation has made it to the MCB forum...you have a ton of support.
Second, I'll be praying for you.
Lastly, get the book "THE CHINA STUDY" by Colin Campbell.

It is about reversing cancer, among other things.
I am currently reading it...VERY compelling.

                    Good luck Tuna!
                    Stay positive!
                    Prayers coming your way.

Edit: Get ready to eat. When my wife was on 3 different types of chemo, including a pic line, I forced her to eat. Nutrition is critical.
"I'm not hungry" or "Food doesn't taste good" I don't care. F'ing eat.

Second day of chemo...feeling mighty low right now. Thank you all for you kind words. They are very encourging and it helps alot. I know I have to eat, but this tumor is blocking my esophagus alot now, so getting stuff to go down is near impossible at this point. The treatment I am getting is to shrink this tumor over a 3 cycle period(9 weeks or so) in hopes that I can get to eating and get strong for the surgery. Even after only 2 days of chemo, the burning in my chest is going away. I hope that the killing has begun. Many thanks to all. I'll keep you posted.

i have personally watched a cannabis concentrate, that i make, cure the skin cancer my grandfather had for 20 years. No more laser burns or chemocream, gone. It is not a cure for your cancer but there is no doubt a study or some evidence that cannabis would help speed your recovery and the most important part of the treatment, keep your mindset positive. Several members of my family have undergone chemo and used cannabis to great effect. Infact my step mother gained 20 lbs during her 6 month stent.
I know there is a lot in this link but here is a list of specific treatments.
                        http://forum.grasscity.com/medical-m...ly-2010-a.html

And for the ones who doubts that the research is there to support cannabis as a cancer medicine. lol Here you go.
                        http://forum.grasscity.com/legalizat...a-studies.html

Cannabis is in no way a cure for internal cancers and has only been shown to cure topical skin cancers, but is shown to enhance current traditional treatments, and in some cases shrink tumors on its own. There is not one kind of weed that does it all and different strains are used for different things. I am pretty educated in this area and will answer any questions if you are interested. I also have honey oil on hand, free to people like you.
                        Fire power my friends.
