Any interest in Aluminum Classic RT bodies?

I have been throwing around the idea of making some aluminum classic RT bodies. They would be center feed and much lighter than the stainless steel body. Cost would be a little big more than my minimag style aluminum bodies.

Im also throwing around the idea of making warp feed aluminum minimag style bodies...any interest?

Another cool idea is to mill different designs on the front of a few bodies in place of the minimag style slots....maybe stars, honeycomb, RT style holes....etc...etc.

Tell me what you guys think and what you would like to see. As always, if there is enough interest i will make them.

I have a couple body ideas been throwing them around but since the place I work doesnt have the correct cnc fixtures to make one they said "if you buy the tooling, we'll make a body for you."

      ouch

I'd love to see some of my ideas produced though

Absolutely. I would love to see a classic RT basic body that fit the pro valve/rail. Would this be "over the valve" like the classic RT as well?

once i finish a few owed parts im going to start working on my RT. Im going to modify it to use a regular X valve....I might look into modifying the valve to make it fit inside the body like a regular RT valve does. ULE mill the hell out of the rail. I might make my body accept the twist lock barrel because i have a red smear RT and it would be a shame to let the barrel go to waste.

Its going to be interesting to see how light i can make it. breathing new life into old guns!!!

I'm confused. So is this your plan for all of the bodies? Are you looking at a direct replacement body for the Classic RT body or no? I'd be interested if I'm going to be able to use the stock setup minus the stock body of course.

I know id be interested in a twistlock version. Cocker thread does nothing for me because of all the fancy anoized parts I have.

You can use any body you want. You just have to make a spacer that sits between the valve and rail.

If you mean for the new body to be just like the minimag bodies you just produced, except with a front end that looks like a classic RT, then yes, I'm interested. Either set up for angel detents and cocker threads, or setup in a classic style but coming with an automag-cocker adapter. Aftermarket feedneck threads are a must, though.
