    Barrel confusion?

Ok, I've been a long time out of paintball so long that I'm basically a virgin again.

I've ordered, received and installed Doc Nickel's barrel adapter so I can now use autococker threaded barrels on my Emag.

Now the next question is....which barrel do I get?

I'm looking for a nice mid-range barrel in the area of $50 - $70. Definitely not looking for a Smart Part system with inserts, bells, whistles and all that.

    Any suggestions?

    Much thanks.

And as always, if there already is a thread for this just point me on my way and I'll be going.

    Thanks.

unless you buy paint to match the barrel you are getting, you could be in trouble....paint today is getting so small, you almost have to get an insert/barrel combo of some sort...

Look for a used J&J Edge kit. I got mine new for around $75. You can often times find a used Freak kit for $70-75 if you keep your eyes open. Honestly, I have an old J&J S2 barrel that I used quite a bit up until recently that I like a fair amount.

I swear by CP... they are awesome barrels and are dimond honed. When they say its a .689 or so on it really is. I have both a single piece twistlock for my minimag and a cocker threaded one for my ule xvalve mag. Love them and they look sick. Got them for 35 bucks brand new for the single piece. The 2the piece are a bit more but you can get different boar backs.

Lurker! Made in .678 and .684 bores. Long control bores. Great barrels. $39 Each I believe. 684 Should be fine.

I have had very good luck with the python and ifit platforms. There are alot of bore sizes and marker thread types to choose from and you can use the barrel type of your liking with the kits.
