    Homemade foregrip extenders

I've come to realize that AO is a very creative bunch, and can also be pretty thrifty. So i thought I'd come to you with my question:

Anyone here ever make a foregrip extender for their mag? The classic AM/MM length is just an inch or two too close for me, and I'd prefer not to spend money on one. Worst come to worst, I'll just pick up one of Luke's, but i thought I'd ask first.

^^^^Imagine a 6" chain dangling from the front of your rail......

Simplest would be to just take a short piece of aluminum and drill enough holes in it to mount stuff. Dont think there is much cheaper unless you want to duct tape something together.

More I thought about it, I remembered I had some homebrew extender that I got in a package deal once. Not sure why I kept ahold of it, but if you want it, PM me and I'll ship it to you for the cost of shipping. LMK.

True. I've seen the chain one. Pretty sweet, but not my style. I like gas through's. Lol

The Beast was sweet! Why did you opt for a standard bottomline tank setup?

For one of my mags, I drilled a few holes to a weaver rail and then slapped a weaver mounted fore-grip to it. I too find the classic rail to be too short.

The custom one is on the upper left. The one on the upper right is a purpose built extender from the 90s.

the beast was built for the purpose of co2 use on gun in wisconsin

and it was good at it. i remember I could get + or - 4fps at the chrono. the local field that i go to does not do co2 so i upgraded

that gun setup with warp was comfortable thou! even tom said so.

oh and here's a rare picture

UNFORTUNATELY I bought that body, barrel and Ygrip and then ran into trouble and couldnt play.. then needed money and SOLD THEM!

selling that y-grip still chokes me up... im getting kind of emotional right now about it actually.

                        thats.... sad

not exactly an extender... but it does point forward! the one on the Tac-1

Made out of an old A5 ASA, reg shell and a real bicycle grip.

Yeah, but they go for, like, $50. I could get one of Lukes sweet little things for half that.

It looks really comfortable. I imagine it would rest on the inside of my elbow, which thinking about it, might be nice after some getting used to.

Lol. I know how you feel. Completely. I get emotional over old mags and cockers I've owned, too.
