Black and chrome? or keep the classic splash?

I'm giving my Classic RT an AO fueled makeover. Pictured below is the marker with Lukes Mini Vert frame on it. When done it will have:
    -Aforementioned frame
    -XMTs AL RT body
    -Deadlywind 10" unported Fibur barrel
    -RPG clamping feedneck
    -RPG retents
    -?drop/ASA

So what do I do about the color? My personal preference is to go black and chrome, but there is a part of me that feels obligated to keep the old splash and retain some of the heritage. What say you?

Black and chrome! I know that's the color scheme I'm currently going for on my ghetto RT build.

How about black and black? I'm a fan of black and black. And more black if you can spare it.

        Definitely not on the A-Team.

Dust black with that splash setup you have would look sweet! Just enough pop, but stealth looking at the same time!

note: If I go black/chrome I will be doing so via trade rather than stripping the splash anno.

You can get black and chrome anywhere. Splash is different and unusual. Keep it as is and get the frame annod to match.

Thats the plan (trading not getting tarred and feathered).

Id really keep the splash stuff! You crazy man!

Really either gloss or dust black with that splash would look sweet. Polish would look cool too, just take some 2000 grit to the body/ frame and mothers Polish it up!

I think you'll regret parting with that splash though

Getting anything anodized to match that is tough. Ive tryed with a set like that that I have. No one could figure out how it was anodized. Its not normal anodizing.
