    New RP Paint - Lightning

I got some new paint today(so i was told) and its by RP, the shell has glitter manufactured into it somehow. All i can say is, i broke it open and the stuff is like silly string, no way anyone can wipe it. However the shell is super soft though, its not brittle, not even hard at all, just extremely soft, you can cave in part of the shell with minimial effort, it appears to be oily, i will tell you results of how it plays saturday evening.

I shot it with mixed results. I have about 500 rounds sitting in my house. It's horribly brittle in the cold but seems to work ok when it's warmer. The fill is like toothpaste so you're right, no wiping, unless you take a chisel or sander out on the field with you.

Hope it works for you. I think I'll stick with All-Stars.

Yep, I just don't like the stuff, personally. Maybe after the SFL adjustments I'll feel differently but All-Stars are doing the job just fine, right now.

                        Lightning is HORRIBLE!!!
3 weeks ago I tried to shoot it at WAP in Woodland.
I gave it a chance in my AKA Angel, my Super-Duper Mag and my Phantom. I literally could not get any gun chronoed. First, it was so small it would roll out of my smallest freak insert. Out of a full bag, I got 5 or 6 shots that were not broken right in the breach, in any gun. I tried every barrel I own (Freak, Boomy, Ultra-light, Lapco, Sp AA,Stock Mini-Mag, Stock Phantom)and nothing worked. Fortunatly I had a half case of marbs, and a case of Hellfire, all of which worked flawlessly. I took it back to Ace Paintball, and they happily traded me for a case of regular marbs. They had been having the same experience themselves. Even this last week, from a new shipment, I was told by a fellow stock-gunner that the lightning was unshootable. So, untill they get the paint ironed out I would stick with something you know is good.

I don't practice anymore: I'm just good in a natural, vicious sort of way.

                          Lighting??

I prefer good ol brass eagle thats been sitting on the shelf at wal mart for 2-3 years. Its so sqare you can shoot left and it will boom-a-rang and hit people in the back. Seriously I have shot RP premium forever and it is the most consistent ball I think out there. As for lightning it will get better as they tweek the formula.
