    PRO refs

Has anyone read the Rules for the new PRO Refs? They can't hang out with players, party, ect. I know that would make them biased but who would give up the things that make tournes fun? Plus they can't be on any team the PRO refs judge in that league. So let me know what you guys think about it. I would love to judge but I would hate to give up playing for it.

I think that is it a good thing to have those kinds of rules to help Refs be inpartial but I don't think that you have to give up playing completely you could always play rec ball or join a small local league to get in some tournaments. If you decide that playing in tournaments is to much to give up then it's really not a choice that you should make.

I could see where that should apply to the pro division, because of the money involved. But definately not in the amature and novice divisions. The refs in those divisions are learning just like the players. I wouldn't ref if I had to give up my team position.
