Anodizing Dilema

And here is a part that I cant get... apart...



You cant tell from the image very well, but it appears there is "pinch" marks in a couple places around the brass that keep the stud in place... maybe ill have to find a new feedneck for this? Anyone wanna trade for a Redz camlock?

apply 2 nuts to the stud and wrench it out after applying some heat as i believe that its been loctited in place.

Ill give that a shot, im just afraid to bust the brass piece out of the ears on it. Ive already tried some heat on it with no help. Ill try to get better pics with my slr of where its "pinched" in the brass to the threads. I just think its not meant to come apart

try taking measurements of it(height, width, length), as you might be able to use that same piece from PE or Empire.

Ill get some measurements and check it out, may not sweat it too much and just get a different one anyhow.

I have been dreaming of a project with this instead of dust... Engine turning. That would be amazing on the frame/rail/sight, then the rest solid. It would probably take months to perfect it and jig up... but worth it? Yes
