    Check out these bottle/rail mounts

There's an MCB'er trying to identify these...

It's a separable rail mount that you would use on bottle reg, like a flatline or max-flo. They lock with four steel balls and a cam. Very swanky.

I've seen one here long ago.

I remember those. I just can't remember who made them.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

Yup, Datapimp. Also made some "long" (3" or so) drops with the honeycomb logo on them.

Datapimp!!! That's who made them. It was right on the tip of my tongue but I just couldn't pull it out.

I had one of the Flatline drops when I had a Flatline tank. It was really cool for quickly disconnecting that tank.

From that picture, though, I can't understand how those work. The two pieces that look like they'd fit together, is there a tiny lip on the sides to keep them stuck together or something?

It's kind of tough to see in the picture, but there are two horizontal dowel pins that rotate into the slots milled into the side of the receiver. The two pieces must be perpendicular before being rotated. The tiny lever on the end moves an internal cam which pushes the ball bearings upward onto the hardened steel inserts of the other piece.

Yep Datapimp drops - I have a bag of them around here somewhere. Pretty slick setup. Those were the dovetail quick switch style, he also had some drop forwards - allow me to steal someone's pictures
