            That's a VM-68 Magnum. All the oldies reffered to it as the VM-Mag.

              Me and my friends get a kick when we take a VM to the field... a bunch of kids are usually like, "Woah, what is that?" It's so old it's new again We started telling them we made it in the basement.

                i get that all the time..... its funny cause you let them hold it and they almost fall down. then you let them shoot it and there death and hand hurts from the recoil....LOL

                  They sound like they were pretty cool to have back in the day.

                    lol in my case back in the day means last september. the gun weighs like 8 pounds w/o hopper and tank. its HORRIBLY loud, and being its all metal except for the grip frame it has massive recoil and gas consumtion..

                        YOu think a mag or a cocker has a noticable sounds ... the PMI-III's made this loud horrible ding ding sound in the back bottle tank when fired *L* ... and a very noticable sound when they fired just air and not paint ... used to be an old tactic of turning the marker up-side down and firing air ... people would think you were out of paint and try to charge you ... work great with pumps back in the day ...

                            Yeah but they were the thing to have back then ... I remember back in 93 the pecking order of semi's was;

                            1) Automag.
                            2) Cocker, I had a mini with the original green barrel.
                            3) F2 illustrator
                            4) PMI-III (VM-68)
                            5) Stingray ...

                            At least around my area that's how it was ...
