Someone help me with this decision!

Ok, i have around $250 bucks to spend. I was thinking about just gettin a few more $ and going for the TKO mag off paintballgear.com OR should i save my $$ for a month or 2 and get an RT PRO (hopefully price goes down by then?).

I'm not interested in buying used guns (i know thats what you all are gonna say :P) Another problem with going RT is i'd also need a nitro system. From what i hear the TKO can run co2 without problem.

I can probably get up to around $350 if I find someone who wants my model 98 for around $100... but i don't know if i want to sell it... BAH!! TOO MANY DECISIONS AND SO LITTLE MONEY!!

    *shrugs*

If you aren't intrested in buying used I would honestly just say screw it until you have more money. Consider the reason you are buying a mag. Yes they are fun guns to mess around with, but they are a little bit of a higher end gun and they do shoot more paint, which it doesn't sound like you can afford. Your statement about the TKO shooting Co2 is valid, it will shoot Co2, but it's not really the optimal setup, in fact I wouldn't recommend it at all unless you had some sort of remote or regulator on the mag.

I would buy a mag if I could afford

-a powerfeed mag or anything above that
    -a preset n2 system
    -a motorized loader

Without those three things you might be hurting... *shrugs* consider what you are using it for, tournaments, rec ball, scenario, ect... the 98 you have is gonna be fine for a while for all of the above, I would just stick with it until you get more money or else you NEED to get something used.

if you're going to play tournies, you need to go rt. just faster. although, if you work a stock mag in enough, you can get a fairly high rof. nitro is always a good investment in this game. you can survive with co2, although i wouldn't recommend any mag on it. if co2 is a neccesity, i would say stick with tippman. if you're just an avid recballer, the tko mag should do fine. maybe you should consider a pump. runs co2 fine, great guns in pumps. saves a lot of money on paint.

My advice, after buying several paintball guns only to end up selling them to upgrade after not too long, is to just save your money until you can get the completely pimped out system you want. Especially if you get the standard feed TKO, you're going to want to upgrade that to a powerfeed before too long... then get a better loader... then you get a warp feed and want to get a warp body... plus nitro somewhere along the line... Don't forget a ReTro valve!
It might take some patience, but just wait until you can get what you really want.
