just got them back:-) 15 degree fore grips

I have a buddy at work that dabbles at making stuff.he has a few pieces of milling equipment at his home so I asked if I brought him some 1 inch aluminum rod if he could try to make me a fore grip or 2.I let him take a rail and a vertical adapter with a gas through to see what he could come up with.this is what I got for my 6.77$ worth of aluminum rod,4 different pieces at 15 degrees that actually fit really nice.what do you guys think?



Should I polish them or anno or hydro dip them?:-)

He asked me about a design but I just told him surprise me.I only expected one but got 4 lol I was totally shocked and tried to pay him a machinist wage for the time it took but he just wasn't gonna have that.he just enjoys tinkering. :-)

I ordered a 2 foot piece of solid 1 inch aluminum rod delivered to my place of work from the same company that delivers our steel for our weilder.that may have been why it was soo cheap.the grips are 5 inches long I think.I'm gonna have to build a couple more mags to put them all on.:-)
