Looks alright, but I'd just ditch the whole 'Magpie' thing - since when has that been a 'mag or AO thing?sigpic

It's been a long standing tradition on this site that we all share a love of both mags and pie... I just combined the 2 when I started the team threads... dont believe me, search for "pie"
When I started the AO Army team (when I say I started, really it was Tom, but I just implemented the idea into reality) I had originally wanted us to be called Magpies, to represent the AO Army. it went back and forth and now we are the AO Army and all of us are magpies. its silly, it really is. half of us identify with the magpie and the other half identify with the AO Army, still on the same team, lol.sigpicComment

You didn't hurt my feelings. I just noticed that you posted this:Justus I'm sorry you feel that way. I will admit I had a vision but was swayed by people. Dont want the phrase? I'll remove it. I'mtrying to please everyone on the site at once. Its hard iI'd like to point out that pbn says "here's our jersey... Dont like it.... Dont buy it" what you said doesn't hurt me and I want you to know that cause I knew I wouldn't please everyone. The hardest thing for me to do is hurt someone's feelings or do something that might. Thank you.
and I wanted to give you some honest feedback. I do applaud your efforts, and acknowledge that it's not an easy task.
Here's an example of where I thought the jersey idea was going originally:

Although, I actually thought that the dark swaths were going to go over the shoulders and down the sleeves, with some texture to look like plate armor, and the lighter gray hex pattern down the chest and around the flank area. (turn it upside down)Comment

HAHA!! Now we're getting somewhere. I don't even mind the splashes. If the black lines that make the hex pattern can be changed to a dark gray or even the dark slate color from the splash, I think it will tie the whole thing together.
EDIT: OOh! and the Magpie on the back, change the teal gradient on the wings to use one of the colors from the splash, so it doesn't look out of place either. Then, perfect. The other logos aren't going to be of the same color palate, but they're logos, so they don't have to be.Comment

That's looking better every time. Ideally, the hex pattern would also be a gradient from darker to lighter as it goes down the jersey, just like the background. That's more of a finishing touch kinda thing though. This mock-up looks good to me. Anyone else?Comment

I think the jerseys are nice. One thing to keep in mind is that if you aren't happy with what is offered, don't buy it. You can also contact Animal and design your dream shirt at any time. I think BT has been more than patient in trying to accommodate peoples input, but at this point, it is essentially a done deal. Take it or leave it. There is an explanation of what can and can't be done with the existing pattern in the dealers thread.
Good job in taking the bull by the horns BT!Comment
