Using 2 tubes should be less milling and have less wasted material. Which I would imagine means it is cheaper and quicker to make.

how hard is it to get rid of the angel treaded detents on the sides and go with a(n) ego/sypder finger detent system hidden by the rail???

instead of using milling realestate for threaded detents cut two recess areas for ego detents 15* from each other centered on the PIM

i would love a ripper AM length with some hidden detents... there are such great lines on these bodies (all of yours actually) but they are broken up by the detents

I always thought the mag could be sexier with hidden detents and full bodied milling

maybe combine the "Rukh's hidden detents" with "Hills hidden eye's"

would you just put an oring in a groove between the two tubes for a seal???

          OR

make a 12g changer fit in a grip and route the air thru the bottom of the sydearm valve

Or incorporate a bottom air inlet into the proposed aluminum classic style valve.....

you know with the ULE milling on all these rails you could actually put 1 detent UNDERNEATH a body hidden by the space in a milled rail

except you're forgetting the PIM that holds the body to the rail...

BT did you have a pick of the sydearm valve? top and bottom is it the same???

some very good thoughts on all of this. anything is possible but with the limited market for this kind of thing it would be hard to turn a profit when you spend over 40-100 hours designing, programming, doing setup, machining and testing. A ule sydarm body is totally possible but how many people would by one? Stupid me just sold my almost mint sydarm to KNW...Fail.LOL

A shockwave body and rail? Yes i remember that combo. I only made one body and 2 or three rails. If i can dig the programs up its possible. from what i remember you already have a shockwave unibody...was going to say i have 2 of those that are going up for sale.

I just posted a preorder in the dealers section.
I might make some of the xmag style feednecks if there is enough interest
