    Wear on modern markers

Ok Igot ba ck into the sport a few years ago and since I used to have a old RT I went with mags again but I always see modern markers talking about breech wear. Is this just something that has to be re-annoed or once it isworn is the marker junk.

i see it as more of "evidence" of the gun being used or not on the 'for sale' market. if someone wants to sell a gun as new, or little use, showing the breech, in guns that don't have a shot counter shows how much or how little use the gun has.

Nice thing with mags is that if there was breach wear you'd just switch barrels - I haven't seen any yet on a mag, though, classic or ULE.

It can mean cheap aluminum or anodizing (shockers LOL) or be a sign of a bigger issue if it's not uniform (angels, some stacked poppets).

*edit* most of the time it's just "miles".
