Fields in the SF Bay Area

My friends and I are looking for a new field to play. Any recommendations?

We're thinking for trying Paintball Forest? Anyone play there?

    Bay Area Fields

Here are some in the North/East Bay Area.

    Outdoor:
Sherwood Forest 707-552-7566 / North of Vallejo in American Canyon
Paintball Jungle 707-552-2426 / North of Vallejo in American Canyon
Sunol Paintballfield 510-489-9499 / South of Pleasanton

    Indoor:
Fairgrounds Paintball 415-435-6900 / In Vallejo across from Marine World

I think there are some in the Santa Cruz Mts. Bear Creek I believe its called. Sherwood is not bad. Haven't been to the Jungle in years. They are pretty much right next to
each other, so you can take your pick.

Sherwood forest has 3 small fields that lend themselves to more speedball than anything else.

Paintball jungle uses one large field with different forts to play from. also has a speedball field in it too. They also have a zulu camp?? its like a small village with teepee like structures. Havent been there in a while but may go soon.

In the santa cruz mtns, theres woodstalk, bear creek, and tag. A local paintball store has links to some of these places. www.paintball-paradise.com
Markers: LX (CF Hyperframe Mag/ PFHR RT Pro)

        Thanks mrbrutal...

that's exactly the description I was interested in. Not a big fan of speedball only fields. PB Jungle sounds better.

Here are the fields I've played:

Sunol (Sunol between Fremont and Pleasanton) is a small Speedball-only field with maybe 4 fields stuck close together. It seems very unorganized when I was there last Summer.

Woodstalk (Ft. Ord/Monterey) is cool but the walk-on games seem unorganized. Good fields, both woods and speed ball. They've moved to an Inside PB Field for the Winter (forever?), but I haven't been there yet.

Bear Creek (Santa Cruz Mtns near Los Gatos) is a woods-style field (just 1 field). Games are short and well run. Pretty good field.

PB Jungle is overpriced and Bob is a butthole.

            Sherwood is good.

Bob does have a sketchy history, but I haven't
been there in a while and I was hoping that he's
changed a bit over the years.

Sherwood is good, although I'd like more woodland
like and less speedball. But, that's just my two
              cents worth.

I've never played at Sherwood, but it can't be worse than Jungles prices/cheating.

Can you guys elaborate on PBJungle? Is Bob the owner? Why is he a "butthole" and what's up w/ the prices/cheating as mentioned in the previous posts?

The prices on the website seem comparable to other fields in the Bay($20 admission & $65/case - Marbelizer). Please explain.
