so how bad of an idea would it be for me to dremel out the inside of my rail how luke and them ule mill rails?

Luke charges 30-35 bucks and his milling is perfect. Don't ruin a good rail.

I think you would spend more than $30 on bits to clean it out and a lot of time...Send it to Luke...clean and professional for a likely resale some day in the future.

I can't count the rails that have been sent over the past 10 years for me to "fix" over this exact situation, problem is I can't put the material back.

I say go for it, destroy it so it's off the market, I'll make one to replace it!

if you want something unique, then go for it. a steady hand and artistic vision can't be done by someone else. i don't discount what someone can do with a dremel or hand tools(how people quickly forget Triggernomics), its just when people that have all the good intentions, but don't realize the task at hand and then ruin something.

if you want to do it, then go for it. just remember that you can't put metal back on it, have an idea before you even cut(planing it or drawing it ahead of time helps greatly) and to practice on either a classic rail, or something that is already hacked up.

I'd say get a poor/cheap rail and go for it on the test piece. I just used a piece of round bar to play with before I started on my Airwalk. You'll learn a lot. I'm definitely learning what I can and can't do with my current project.

Awe man…the original Armada rail by El Panda was done using hand files….and it looks way better than tha L-Armada rail by far. so if you wanna do something to your rail..Do it!!!

I've spent a lot of time looking at that build
