I like sport bikes, love the speed but too uncomfortable for me personally, the riding position disagrees with me. Hand made bikes are my favorite though.

I'm the exact opposite. Sitting upright kills my spine. Me and the wife ride the Busa to NC from IL a few times a year. And here is one that is mostly home made. Forming the tail light lenses was a fun task.

I asked about the vin because until tonight I didn't know how bad ins companies kill people with a actual "custom" vin number.

          Haha! So not right.

And DR said constipation caused that issue. Not bikes.

take your favorite sport bike motor and put it in an upright frame. the speed you want in the comfort that you are looking for. simple solution, so the frame can be anything, but you follow the motor's vin. plus, you'll be able to take so many harleys off the line that way. old iron is for anchors...(i don't care for harleys, and most of the organic material that is on top of them. a set of riding gauntlets, $20. Harley edition, $40+ cause they're Harley...)

also, Luke, did you make it out to Tunaball 3? i wasn't around, then, but would like to know what or who i missed.

I've owned and ridden many different bikes since I was 10 years old, my Harley is the only bike I've been on that I wasn't wishing I was on something else. My 96" TC has more than enough power to keep me happy, I've had it at 120mph+ with more to go, that's plenty for me. The picture above is NOT a Harley, it a hardtail custom, 97" S&S with a six speed, and it's light, its sure to be full of shi tsand giggles. Sport bikes are fun but don't hold much interest for me. If I was going to build a chop other than a Harley of some variation or another, it would likely be a CB750.
