A question for the halo owners

what is the purpose of the ball detent in the halo, I just don't see a purpose for it. If one of you could fill me in.

To stop the balls from feeding...like you would turn your powerfeed plug the other way, to clean off the bolt face or something.

So they can say it has one I never found a great use for it to tell you the truth... more of a pain cuz there's always 2 left in there.

Thats the detent to have the eye in the Halo to be able to see a gap. Remember, to beat Brass Eagle's patent about the eye 'seeing an absense of a paintball and then start to agitate'
The Halo detects a presence of a paintball, therefore needing a gap to start with.

if you have the ball detent held back, then you'd be actually slowing down the feed rate.
