Look for a local fire extinguisher service place or ask your local fire department where they get their stuff done. $50 is crazy, I was paying $12 and could get the tank back the next day.The user formally known as Lancecst. -
I believe this may be what you're referring to http://www.crossfireinc.com. My local place sends their thanks there. I've actually seriously contemplated a custom tank to go with my mag if I get it finished.Comment

I did mine through Ninja as well - had them do some reg swaps at the same time.Comment

If your already concerned about the $50 cost I would not suggest Ninja. You'll spend more than half that on shipping...Comment

Crossfire charges 25 flat. Ninja charges 24 for just test, extra to remove reg and extra to install reg.Comment

we do but we also get your tank done in 3-5 days
no matter who you chose you should get a reg - regs will wear out and need to be replaced or rebuilt every 5 years.Comment

Crossfire is good, but I used my local dive shop last time and they sent them to a manufacturers service.
EDIT: Ninja is right about the reg rebuild, many people don't consider that.Comment

If a person pays for removal and install of reg, do you gguys put air in the tank to see if it needs to be rebuild or not?Comment
