In case anyone cares, I deleted the post regarding the collections due to the constant need for some members to go off subject and in my opinion argue and belittle for the pure sake of doing so. Not sure who posted the pic, but pretty much figured it would get locked anyways, so I cut out the middleman.

Sorry to hear that. Never fun to have to deal with stuff like this. Especially on AO. I thought it was a good topic, but you can't make everyone happy all the time. By deleting it you took the higher ground and demonstrated how wise and mature "most" of the AO users are. I don't mean to start anything back up but instead I just give you a pat on the back.

This is not fair to Shartley. I was one of the ones that liked him, but I fully understand the other point of view. At least he contributed (wood grips, sig pics).

I was simply trying to explain why the thread vapored to make it clear I took it down rather than getting locked or what. Also was a way for me to not so subtly point out why we can't have nice things sometimes.
