    marker weights

anybody know what a decked out emag weighs? i'm trying to weigh mine and the bathroom scales are problematic. 14 inch barrel, stainless warp body, stock rail and lowers, new AGD battery, warp feed with 12v mod, gas thru stock, and with 2 different loaders, a 12v revy and a 6aa halo.

    any guesses?

um...you know, i've actually got all of that here if you can believe that. what barrel, exactly? i can weigh it all on my digital scale later tonight.

also, to use bathroom scales to weigh things, first stand on the scale by yourself, and then stand on it holding the object you want to weigh. subtract the two to get a ballpark number.

the barrel is an amson ssr but i have several different brands and types of twistlocks. the problem with the bathroom scales was that i weighed myself then picked up the marker with the revy on the warp and the difference was 8.2 lbs then i switched the revy for a halo and it gave me the same weight and i know the halo is heavier than the revy.

because I have to pay one baggage fee to bring my equipment with me to Tunaball and I don't want to have to pay the fee for the bag being too heavy.

They only gave us 40 pounds, the empty bag weighs 10.

41 to 70 is a 50 dollar overweight fee, each way.

I'll end up paying that probably.

Send stuff to either the field or a layover person like myself and pack the essentials.

Ship gear to the field or other member, free up space in your luggage. Problem solved.
