    Automag grip frame

My friend gave me his AutoMag to clean up and taking it apart I noticed that the frame grip is made of carbon fiber. I know mine is made of something else. When did they make these? Were they normal issue on stock guns? What is the weight difference?

Yup. Look at your serial number, it's old enough to be pre carbon fiber. Nice, a collectible.

Hahaha. If it was iron it would weigh as much as like a car, lol.
