    Cradle I Made for my 114ci

    I know it might seem cheap but I didn't want to dish out $60 for a DZII or anything like that so I decided to make my own. I guess a picture is worth a thousand words so here you go:

        did you just put that plate of aluminum in a vise and bend it using a mallet? or did you use a sheet metal bender?

            311automag--i put it in the vise and put about a 3 foot long piece of 1" ID pipe over it for some good leverage and bent it by hand. My friend has a sheet metal bender and he recomended this way because it might mess up his bender.

            dropkick1--yeah it doesn't look to ugly. Not professional by any means but it beats buying one.

                    Personally I would be much happier with something I built that is as functional if not moreso than a commercial piece.

                    Of course I don't subscribe to all the hype and don't care what my marker looks like so long as its clean functional. I don't need a polished body to make elims. Right?
