Downgrading... am I the only one

Well, after about 6 months with my Retro Valve, I've decided it's time to 'downgrade', if you will, back to my stock Minimag valve. I just can't get used to the RT trigger. It was cool at first, but now it just bugs me.

Am I the only one? Or are there people who have done the same thing....

I couldn't even imagine going back to my AIR valve. It would cut my ROF by 25%.

The reactive trigger isn't the only benefit from the ReTro valve. The other is no shoot down. If the trigger is too reactive, try turning down the input pressure.

i'm downgrading in another way, I've got a brand new rainmaker arriving tomorrow. After about $50 worth of work, and a $20 MAC mount, $20 delrin bolt, as well as a $50 backblock you've got on NICE rainmaker... That pans out to about $350, including price of gun ($200 for new RM). I think i'll be more than happy with it.

Of course I'll still use my e-mag in practices and tourneys, but i've got a new rec gun !

Rate of fire doesn't bother me... I can shoot plenty fast with my stock valve and my Intelliframe. Shootdown? Not with the stock valve. I've never experienced anything remotely close to shootdown. Since I can't whip off 15bps, I doubt I'll ever have to worry about it. If I don't need the reactiveness of the trigger, I have no reason to have a retro valve.

            just my $.02.
