AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
I am seeing this more and more... I am telling everyone to remove the batteries from the packs while not in use. Depending on how deep the pitting is, you might be able to re-anno it. Clean it with some baking soda, dish soap and a tooth brush and see how bad it is.

Thanks. I'll try it for sure. This is an AGD OEM battery, which is probably 15 years old at this point. For some reason I thought I'd be safe as I was using the yellow plastic spacer pin so the battery was disconnected.
But it's a good advice for sure. I'll remove the other two battery packs on the Karta and X before something similar happens.
I too have had this happen. The pin only disconnects the battery from powering up the board and noid, it does not mean that it won't discharge and of course blow up as it where.
