    So, this happened. :(

Now what? Is there a way to clean the ano and save it or is it basically damaged for good and busted?

I am seeing this more and more... I am telling everyone to remove the batteries from the packs while not in use. Depending on how deep the pitting is, you might be able to re-anno it. Clean it with some baking soda, dish soap and a tooth brush and see how bad it is.

Thanks. I'll try it for sure. This is an AGD OEM battery, which is probably 15 years old at this point. For some reason I thought I'd be safe as I was using the yellow plastic spacer pin so the battery was disconnected.

But it's a good advice for sure. I'll remove the other two battery packs on the Karta and X before something similar happens.

I too have had this happen. The pin only disconnects the battery from powering up the board and noid, it does not mean that it won't discharge and of course blow up as it where.

It's what happened to one of the owners of my SFL... now I take out the batteries for storage.

I find that the AGD packs have a longer life span than the aftermarket ones.

Could be. That one was certainly the oldest I had.

All the electronic markers I have take 9 volts.

And I never go more than two months between playing, only when its 90+ in the shade for a short time in the summer.

Played all day with the Evo mag yesterday with no problems against the electronic markers (except whats caused by being old).

Why would there be a problem? Electronic trigger against electronic trigger, its just the set after the board to the valve that is different.

But, question is, who built the gun for you? Cause i have never seen that one have any problems
