    No not really. Unless it was perfectly seated in the breech, and the eyes passed through the segments; you will still block the eye in some way. Reflective eyes, might be a problem, but they were always screwy to begin with.

      if anyone is interested Atomic Pickle posted a video comparing them to paintballs and reballs vs drywall. no damage, they didn't seem to leave any mark on my plaster walls at home either.

          Some guns have eyes (PE, SP/Luxe, Dye, Empire/GI, Bob Longg, etc) that youcould turn them off, it can effect things like RoF (which could be set to a lower RoF than with eyes to prevent possible ball breaks because of a problem), and this shouldn't for just one type of gun (mechanical) but for all.

          Also, to help diagnose guns indoors(where low impact will be useful to those that don't have yards or soace to shoot paint), having the eyes
          on best helps finding a possible problem in the gun. Yes, a L10 gun doesn't break paint, yet not every gun has that yet.
